Position: Senior/Semi Senior Accountant

Location: Coventry

Package: Up to £40,000, 30 days holiday, free parking, study support, progression

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

Senior Accountant Job Overview

• Produce accurate year-end accounts, management accounts, and tax returns across a varied client portfolio.
• Oversee bookkeeping and ensure all client records meet compliance standards.
• Build strong client relationships and provide proactive, practical advice.
• Manage deadlines, spot issues early, and deliver a reliable, high-quality service.
• Review junior team members’ work and support their development.
• Champion cloud accounting software and help streamline internal processes.
• Contribute ideas that enhance efficiency and improve client experience.

Senior Accountant Job Requirements

• Must be at a minimum part ACCA/ACA qualified
• Able to comfortably commute to Coventry
• Minimum of 3 years UK Accountancy Practice experience
• Experience working within a portfolio of clients, and liaising directly with clients
• Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

• Salary depending on experience, ranging from £32,000-40,000
